Town of Skaneateles Employment Opportunity - Motor Equipment Operator

The Town of Skaneateles is seeking a full- time motor equipment operator for the Highway Department. The candidate is required to possess either a Class A or B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement.

 The candidate should have a minimum of 3- years of experience in the operation of construction and transportation equipment.  The candidate needs to be able to do heavy physical labor with mechanical skills being beneficial. The ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. A positive attitude to working with others and the community is highly valued.

 This position will be subjected to a background check and drug testing. Town of Skaneateles resident preferred.
